Williams Sisters Go Out Together
Venus Williams also found the Paris clay a bit too much for her and went out to Falvia Pennetta. Falvia won 7-5, 6-3. The light was fading quickly but both players decided to play on. It’s a real disappointing result for Williams’ fans but this clay surface doesn’t really suit either women’s play.
